The reach truck principle
The reach truck has two major strengths: firstly, its compactness and secondly, its considerable lifting height of up to 14,000 mm. When picking up loads, the reach truck pushes its mast forwards until the fork lies freely in front of the truck. This process is called feed. This is followed by the so-called push-back, which pulls the goods back for transport between the front and rear axles. This principle shortens the overall length of the truck, making it particularly maneuverable. It also improves driving stability and reduces the need for counterweights. In this way, our reach trucks can transport loads weighing up to 2.5 tons quickly and safely to their destination.

Thanks to the reach mast and the resulting compactness, they navigate effortlessly through narrow aisles. We also cater to the individual requirements of your company and the storage systems used with the freely selectable option packages, from “Efficiency” to “drive&liftPLUS”. This allows you to manage fast pallet handling even at high lifting heights and cover long travel distances at high travelling speeds.

A wide variety of loads, great heights, and narrow aisles – the reach trucks in the ETV 2i series provide you with ideal support. They allow you to store and retrieve loads quickly and prepare pallets for order picking in the shortest possible time.
- Operating time: The reach trucks pay for themselves with five or fewer operating hours per day.
- Load capacity: Transport loads of up to 1,400 kg or 1,600 kg with the ETV-2i models.
- Lifting height: Lift pallets and crates to a height of up to 10,700 mm.
